Generation 6 (G6) of our family tree in Clan Coleman lists the children born to Pat and Norah Coleman of Cahermaculick, Shrule, Co Mayo, Ireland. Maureen comes in as the fifth child and first daughter born in 1941. She was educated at Gortjordan National School and at the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy in Oranmore in Co Galway. As employment prospects in Ireland were slim, Maureen migrated to London in 1959,
Mike Glynn was born in Portumna, Co Galway, Ireland. He was educated at the local national school and secondary school. After working locally for a few years, he settled in London in 1959. Maureen and Mike first met at a dance 1961. They married in 1963 and had two children, Brian and Fiona.
